Hoksila and the Red Buffalo

The story “Hoksila and the Red Buffalo”, is one of the oldest stories I know of. It was passed down from generation to generation, like from Grandfather to Grandson. The story changes with each generation. The significance of it is, as it goes through ages is, it has no horses in it. Only in the “vision quest” parts. The story has to be very old. But like all legends, it keeps in tune with the passing of time.
