Consultation: $40/hour, 1-hour minimum
For authors who are interested in self-publishing, but don’t know where to start. This isn’t a sales pitch for my services, but a personal conversation about best practices for books in your genre. Each consultation comes with materials tailored to your book and/or where you are in your self-publishing journey.
Group Workshops – Option 1: $50/person, 5-person minimum, 3-hour session
This is for writers’ groups or other groups that already have a space. I’ll come to you and talk to your group about your works in progress, and give you ideas on how to start. Each workshop comes with materials tailored to your group.
Group Workshops – Option 2: $75/person, 10-person minimum, 3-hour session
This is for larger groups that want to talk about self-publishing, but don’t already have a space. I’ll acquire a space at a time and place that works for all of us, and will talk to your group about your works in progress, and give you ideas on how to start. Each workshop comes with materials tailored to your group.

EDITING
Copy Editing & Line Editing: $35/hour — approximately $650 – $750 for a 50,000-word manuscript
Editing for typos and grammatical errors. This is the editorial package most self-published authors purchase.
Proofreading: $30/hour — approximately $400 – $550 for a 50,000-word manuscript
‘Final cleanup’ editing – reviewing for consistency of tone and format.
Manuscript Critique: $40/hour — approximately $800 – $900 for a 50,000-word manuscript
Get an overview of what works and what doesn’t, with suggestions for improvements.
Substantive Editing: $45/hour — approximately $950 – $1,100 for a 50,000-word manuscript
‘Deep dive’ editing for everything from grammar and spelling to plot and logic holes.

EBOOK SERVICES
Digital Conversion: $100-$250
All digital conversions are not equal. Get your book up to industry standards for Kindle, PDF, or any other digital platform. Cost is based on length, number of desired platforms, and complexity.
Distribution Platform Setup: $75
Don’t know how to set up your Amazon Author Account or a Smashwords account? I can take care of it for you! Rate covers up to three separate platforms. I don’t set up payment accounts, but will give you step-by-step instructions for those.
Help, help! $40/hour, 1-hour minimum
Some conversions are trickier than they look. If you’ve tried everything but your ebook still doesn’t look right, I can fix it for you.

COVER DESIGN
Premade Digital Covers: $25-$75
Coming soon! I’ll be offering premade digital covers beginning February 14th. Price is based upon complexity and cost of the base stock images.
Just the Text: $25-$100
For authors who already have an image, but haven’t added the text. Price is based upon complexity and whether the cover is for an ebook, a print book, or both.
Custom Covers: $150 and up
Print and ebook covers available. All of my custom covers use at least two separate stock images and/or original designs so your end product will be something no one else has.

MARKETING
Marketing Plan: $150-$200
My most popular product. Each plan is custom designed for each book. I’ll help you find reviewers, target paid advertising dollars, identify local author events, and more.
Marketing Assistance: $40/hour, 2-hour minimum
Do you already have a marketing plan, but no time to implement it? I’ll reach out to reviewers, schedule appearances, and help you kick off your marketing blitz in style.
